The Project Municipalities Competitiveness of USAID Mexico supported by Centro De Estidios Economicos was presented in Hermosillo with the results, with the reengineering of processes of 15 municipal procedures, thanks to Regulatory Reform; as well as the reforms to be implemented. The delivery of the Reengineering component of the project Muncopios Competitivos featured the participation of Antonio Astiazaran, Mayor of Hermosillo, Ken Roy, Consul General of US ConGen Hermosillo, Joise Luis Gil of USAID Mexico and Jorge Velazquez Director of Jacobs, Cordova & Associates. The regulatory reengineering presented seeks to eliminate bureaucratic processes, provide greater transparency and efficiency in the municipal government to improve the business climate, business competitiveness and development in the Municipality of Hermosillo.
