JC&A senior associate Charles-Henri Montin was invited to speak on a panel at the annual conference of the European Public Health Alliance in Brusels on 2-3 September 2015. Montin was invited to give an independent technical viewpoint on the European Commission’s flagship strategy on Better Regulation.

Scott Jacobs was honored to participate in March 2015 in a CUTS workshop in New Delhi on regulatory impact assessment (RIA) in India. Here, Mr. Jacobs is with Pradeep Singh Mehta, Secretary-General, CUTS International. CUTS or Consumer Unity & Trust Society is one of the largest consumer groups in India.
On February 6th, 2015, Tigran Sukiasyan of JC&A provided a workshop on BEE reforms at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, with UNDP Uzbekistan and ministries. Dr. Alisher Shaykhov, Chairman of the Chamber, summarized the work in Uzbekistan to reduce administrative barriers for doing business.
Training to 34 ministerial units participating in the Regulatory Guillotine reform in Kyrgyzstan was delivered with JCA’s support at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek in March 2015. The inventory of legal acts, the first phase of the Regulatory Guillotine, is scheduled to start on March 11, 2015.
The government of Kyrgyzstan has launched the Regulatory GuillotineTM designed by JC&A. In January 2015, Cesar Cordova and Vedran Antoljak of SenseConsult visited Bishkek to provide technical input.
