On behalf of Forfás, Ireland’s national policy and advisory board for enterprise and trade, Jacobs, Cordova & Associates carried out a study of import and export related requirements that businesses in Ireland were subject to. The study focused on identifying and quantifying the administrative and substantive costs of regulatory requirements that businesses in Ireland faced. The results from the study were used to assess the feasibility of initiating a Single Window system for Ireland, where traders can lodge information with a single body to fulfill all import or export related regulatory requirements.
