Michael Griffin is assisting, in 2014, the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining in Jamaica with the creation of a converged regulator for ICT by bringing together parts of the existing Spectrum Management Authority, the telecommunications functions of the Office of Utility Regulation and the spectrum related aspects of the Broadcasting Commission. The work is ongoing and is being carried out jointly with Regulaid BV.
