JC&A wrote the 2004 report Market Access for Zambian Horticulture Exports: Developing an Institutional and Regulatory Framework for Testing and Certification Services, Background Study, prepared for the World Bank’s Zambia Diagnostic Trade Integration Study. Looking at successful examples from other African countries, we recommended that Zambia clarify the roles of the public and private sectors in testing and certification by properly regulating a private market for testing and related services such as certification, quality control, and training. They were published as part of the Zambia Trade Integration Study.
