JC&A supported the Committee for Protection and Competition (CPC) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) concerning the implementation of a modern competition framework in the telecommunication sector. JC&A identified key areas where training activities were needed and conducted training for the staff of CPC. JC&A provided a gap analysis to enhance CPC to deal with competition policy and sectors. JC&A customized best practice manuals and assisted the staff in managing the application of market definitions; the collections best practice manual assisted the task force staff in organizing the application of market definitions, the collection of market data, and the analysis leading to actual market definitions.
