JC&A supported the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) with methodological and administrative advice for the implementation of Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIAs) in Malaysia. The project consisted of organizing training workshops for officials and regulators and participation conferences. The project also includede assisting in the drafting of pilot regulatory impacts analysis (RIAs) for five proposed legal measures. JC&A was also been in charge of reviewing and providing quality assurance in the undertaking. Besides training the MPC staff and the members of the five pilot RIA Task Forces (“Task Forces”) JC&A also trained RIA facilitators of the National Institute of Public Administration (ITAN).
