JC&A assisted IFC/World Bank in the design of an inspection coordination council in terms of its institutional setup, legal base, organization structure, responsibilities and authorities, operations and processes. This body was to be responsible for all crosscutting issues among inspectorates including setting inspection policies, enhancing inspectors’ competencies, and streamlining inspection operations to enhance efficiency, improving the quality and effectiveness of inspections, and improving collaboration and information sharing among inspectorates. Jacobs, Cordova & Associates assisted IFC and the Government in the institutional design of this new body, assessing the different aspects from mandate, membership, secretariat’s competencies, budget and training needs. The project also included additional advising tasks on merging and consolidating inspection function in Jordan.
