Jacobs, Cordova & Associates reviewed regulatory management and administrative simplification practices in the federal government of Belgium, and the governments of Flanders and Wallonia. We identified major discrepancies with international good regulatory practices; identified weaknesses in framework capacities and the regulatory and administrative environment for business growth and investment; examined links with other major reforms and synergies between these three governments in these areas; and, recommended a package of reforms for the short to medium term for each government.
