With this project, JC&A assisted the Kosovo Ministry of Trade and Industry to better understand and make strategic use of the different international investment climate indicators through an in-depth analysis of the current set of indicators, including their methodological and data-gathering structures, as well as through the development of an Observatory of Investment Indicators.
JC&A prepared a report describing according to a certain number of criteria the different international initiatives to compare and rank the business environment of countries (e.g. World Bank Doing Businesses, Enterprise Survey, World Economic Survey, Fraser Economic Freedom of the World, etc.), and organized a two-day retreat with Kosovo high officials to discuss the report and develop strategies to monitor the impact of current reforms on different international criteria.
