Georgia made significant progress in regulatory reform, particularly licensing simplification, and is now emphasizing the institutionalization of regulatory impact analysis (RIA) capacities into the public administration to improve the quality of regulation into the future. In this project, JC&A analyzed the ongoing plans for introducing an RIA program and identified eight recommendations for strengthening the valuable work that has already been done on the RIA program.
