This project aims to enhance Vietnamese officials’ capacities and understanding of applying good regulatory practices (GRP), particularly those needed to conduct RIAs when developing technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures. JC&A will prepare a Guideline for Implementing RIAs, a pilot RIA for the technical regulation of Electronic Products, a GRP Guideline, four training courses on the two guidelines for Vietnamese regulators, and a regional workshop to share the project’s outcomes with ASEAN member countries.
